The Department of Law at Al-Hadi University College is one of the main departments in the college. The department was established in the academic year 2017-2018. Since then, the department has graduated three batches of students who, along with their colleagues from law colleges and departments at public and private universities, have contributed to providing governmental and private institutions with human resources specialized in legal sciences. The department accepts graduates of scientific and literary secondary schools, as well as graduates of police preparatory schools, according to grades set annually by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research for central admission, and for both morning and evening studies. The duration of study in the Department of Law is four years, during which the student studies various subjects and sciences related to the study of law in its general and private branches, in addition to auxiliary study subjects and scientific studies represented by the virtual court and practical summer training in one of the judicial courts located near the student's residence, as well as the preparation of graduation research. After that, the student is awarded a Bachelor's degree in Law, which qualifies him to work in various governmental and private departments and institutions.

The Department of Biomedical Engineering Technology was opened in the academic year (2017-2018) at Al-Hadi University College in Al-Dora - Mechanics District - end of Street (60). The specialty of biomedical engineering is considered the third best profession in most countries of the world, including Iraq, and it will be one of the most sought-after professions in the coming years. We are heading towards the development of health care and the opening of many private and governmental hospitals in addition to health centers and clinics that are indispensable for biomedical engineering graduates, noting that graduates are included in the central appointment for morning and evening studies according to the directives of the Iraqi Ministry of Health. The department is concerned with studying the human body from an engineering perspective by extracting and recording bioelectrical signals from various body systems. The specialty of biomedical engineering technology is the link between medical sciences, bioengineering sciences, and physiological and chemical reactions that occur within the various body organs, then examining, analyzing, and studying them using medical devices and equipment to diagnose and then treat them. Therefore, biomedical engineering is concerned with the installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of medical equipment and devices responsible for diagnosing and treating diseases.

The Department of Pathological Analysis Techniques was established in (2017-2018) to accept graduates of preparatory studies from the biological and scientific branches for morning studies only, according to the approval of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research dated 9/26/2017 in the Ministry’s letter No. 6918 dated 10/4/2017. It was decided to establish evening studies and the approval for the establishment was obtained at the Higher Education Council’s meeting in its sixth session dated 8/14/2017. The scientific name of the department was changed from the Department of Pathological Analysis Techniques to the Department of Medical Laboratory Techniques for the academic year (2018-2019) and from the first stage upwards, according to the letter of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research Planning/Department of Studies, Planning and Follow-up/Studies and Planning No. TM 3/3/4183 dated 5/28/2018. The department has laboratories equipped with modern equipment in the fields of microbiology, parasitology, general and clinical chemistry, immunology, serology, human anatomy, histology, physiology, and general and molecular biology. Graduates are able to perform all professional analyses approved in hospitals and public laboratories.
